The Top 6 Stoner Gadgets
Under $100
Let’s be honest, most weed gear is a gimmick.
But every once in a while, a product comes along that actually follows through enough to make it into my rotation. After years of personal experimentation (read: shopping while high), I’ve landed on a few favorite gadgets that I now swear by. Whether you're into flower, concentrates, or just looking to stop lighter-thieves - these are my top picks for elevating your smoke game.

1) 510 Hot Knife Tip - $15
If you dab on a budget, you need one of these.
510 Hot Knives are tips that screw right into any standard 510 battery, heating up enough to slice through concentrates like butter.
Don’t be fooled, though. Full-on hot knives can run you upwards of $50 (looking at you, Puffco). But these little 510 attachments can run you $15 or less - and they get the job done. So any standard cart battery will instantly be ready for a dab sesh.
It’s truly a mystery to me how people handle concentrates without them.

2) nugbuddy Bong cleaning kit - $35
I hate cleaning my bong. Cleaning your glass should not be harder than calculus.
Now I use the Nugbuddy Bong Cleaner Kit. In my (unsponsored) opinion - the fact these things aren’t sold everywhere is a crime. I don’t care, I’m tired of pretending like the Formula 420 cleaner gets the job done.
These kits are thorough. The Nugbuddy cleaner kit comes with silicone brushes that actually reach the resin chunks and ice-catchers, plus bong plugs and a silicone travel bag that doubles as a place to clean your pieces.
No matter how good your weed is, if your piece is dirty it’s going to taste like shit. This is a simpler solution - with less chemicals involved too.

3) The twisty glass blunt - $15
I might be the only person on planet earth who thinks this - but the twisty blunt is actually more than a gimmick. I like this thing, maybe even more than a pipe. It’s like a shotgun shell of weed to the face.
Though you may not expect it, it has the kick and the head high of the average joint, but with the perks of a glass piece.
No papers, easy cleaning, and a cleaner smoking experience. More capacity than the average glass piece. You can even remove the glass tube for easy cleaning too.
PLUS you can pack it and cap it to take it on the go.
Do you see what I mean? The fact that no one talks about twisty blunts honestly baffles me. I love my twisty blunt - and the best part is, there’s tons of them ranging from top-dollar brands to Amazon and Ebay dupes.
If you're tired of papers or you’re looking for something more sustainable, the Twisty Blunt is my top pick. Once you learn how to use it and get the hang of it, you’ll definitely understand what I’m talking about.
Just like the
cannabis legend himself,
Jack Herer is a strain
for getting sh*t done.

4) Discreet Coffee CUp Bong - $35
Pre-shift parking lot stoners, this one’s for you. I introduce you to the thing that changed what I do on my work breaks.
The Cup Bong looks like your average to-go coffee cup but hides a fully functional bong inside—bowl included. The bowl tucks away in a secret compartment, and the whole thing’s easy to clean and carry.
Smoking this on a busy New York sidewalk on your work break is better than any $14 coffee in Manhattan.
PuffCo’s Puffsy is the most known in this sector which will run you over $60 for their stainless steel rendition, though I was lucky enough to pick up a (non-steel) version from Friends NYC for about $35.

5) The NWTN glass gravity bong - $78
Remember those DIY gravity bongs from back in the day? The NWTN Gravity Bong is the grown-up version of an old-school gravity bong. It looks like something you’d see in a 1920’s speakeasy, which I adore.
This grav bong isn’t as innovative and expensive than the beloved rotating Stundenglass one. But personally, I like this one better.
Thick glass, art deco design, and massive, lung-filling rips that go down way smoother than you'd expect. You can torch a whole bowl in seconds, then take it like it’s nothing.
Plus, it’s insanely easy to clean. Just wipe the glass out with a paper towel and it’s good as new - no salt shaking needed.
Honestly, I use this thing almost as much as I use my bong. It’s rare that I go a day without taking a rip in this thing. It’s classic and it packs a punch.

6) xVape aria - Dry herb vape - $79
There’s a LOT of talk about Dry Herb Vapes. It seems like every DHV fan on Reddit will die by their love of these things. Though I’m not about to ditch joints for a thing I have to charge, I can kinda see where they’re coming from.
If you’ve never vaped flower before - Dry Herb Vaping might be something you want to try.
Dry Herb Vapes are just that: handheld devices that heat up bud enough to vaporize the THC, terpenes, and other compounds in the weed without burning it completely.
So, you get all of the THC, without the toxins of smoke. This is gentler on lungs and gives a clearer, more tapped-in kind of high. Though the best part about them is that they save SO much weed.
0.2 grams of ground flower is enough to fill most DHVs, which is more than enough. If you buy bud on a budget, a DHV might be able stretch your 1/8th a couple more days.
Plus they come in dozens of types and designs from dozens of brands.
I have the XMAX Aria in their Limited Edition Golden Dragon skin. It has the ability to run 5 or 10 minute sessions, giving me more than enough time to nicely vape by bud. This one is perfect for me, but shop around - search Vapspy - maybe you’ll find a different one that’s more suited to you.

Bonus Gadget:
Clipper Lighters
HOT TAKE: I don’t like BIC lighters.
And once you try Clipper lighters, you probably won’t either. There’s a reason all of Europe prefers these.
Clipper lighters top Bic lights in multiple ways.
For one - They’re refillable.
Buy one and a $15 can of lighter fuel, you’ll be set for months. No more lighting your blunt on the stove burner. I never have a lighter die on my anymore. As soon as gets low, I just refill it.
They come in hundreds of patterns too, which stops your thieving friends from taking your lighter. Everyone can claim they brought the blue BIC to the sesh. Chances are no one will have your exact same clipper.
I can go on - their flints are replaceable and they’re repairable too.
I done with the BIC propaganda.
In the US, Clipper lighters are weed’s
cheapest and best kept secret.

I’ll be honest, most weed gadgets are gimmicks. I’m a firm believer in the idea that if hippies didn’t need much to get high, neither do I. (well, excluding concentrates.)
Though every once in a while, there’s a thing that makes me change my tune. Smoking weed is already fun, so when I find something that makes it even better - like a glass art deco gravity bong - I go wild.
Whether you’re looking to make your smoking seshes a bit easier or find a new way to get high, hopefully this list can give you some (unsponsored) inspiration next time you’re high and looking to buy.
